In 2021, our Bolder Advocacy attorney advised us to form a 501c(4) called "Campaign to Protect San Benito" to better execute political activities like referendums and initiatives.

In 2021, our Bolder Advocacy attorney advised us to also form a 501c(3) called "Protect San Benito County", to more effectively work on CEQA processes, lawsuits, and educational projects like our Environmental Summer Camps. Until the IRS processes our 501c(3) paperwork, our 501c(3) fiscal sponsor is "Environment in the Public Interest" which handles our financial reporting.
